When you get your album in the mail, the first thing you're going to want to do is tear open the packaging and flip through the pages while holding back your tears. While this is an appropriate reaction, I have a few tips to help you keep your album fresh so it can last generations.

Tip One:

Keep your album away from humidity and direct sunlight. This should be obvious! Keep those colors rich by keeping it away from the sun, and avoid any moisture to protect the paper from wrinkling or bubbling. Not a good look for your gorgeous portraits!

Tip Two:

Have clean hands! This is especially important for those who have little ones on the way. If you get any dust, dirt, or finger prints on your pages, a microfiber cloth will be your best friend!

Tip Three:

Store it flat, not upright. This will help the binding last longer! Besides, if it's laying flat on display in your living room, maybe you'll be more inclined to relive the moments over and over again

There you have it! Three big tips to keep your album in pristine condition for years to come. Anybody remember looking at their parents wedding photos? Let's hope our trends now aren't so embarrassing. Sorry, mom!
