What's The Deal With Minis?

What's The Deal With Minis?

I think I’ve done it. I think the jetlag is finally gone!

Greetings on this gorgeously rainy Sunday morning! How has your weekend been? I hope pleasant, cozy, and full of laughter. Since I’ve been spending insane amounts of time with my sweet animals, I know I can say yes to all of the above! We are a week through our scheduled time with mini sessions and I wanted to share a little reflection I had the other day.

My Key Fall Essentials

My Key Fall Essentials

I’ve been back in the states for just over two days now. And more importantly, I’ve had just over two days to fully immerse myself in anything and everything fall. Take it from me, the warm spring sunshine, blooming flowers, and evening breeze were nice in Australia, but nothing beats the coziness of fall.

I feel like having missed out on two plus weeks of my favorite season, I have a little perspective on what are the staples and essentials of living your autumn to the fullest. This little list is basically everything that I’ve done since my return to hang onto fall before winter changes over. Maybe you can relate to this list! If not, maybe otherwise feel inspired. So let’s start with the first and most important.

Top Fall Engagement Session Locations

Top Fall Engagement Session Locations

It's finally October in five days! Although we already celebrated the beginning of fall, October always feels like the official start of the season. Who's with me? Last week I gave away a free fall engagement session to take place at Powell Butte. For those who have been following me a long time or are familiar with my work, I love Powell Butte and feel like it's the perfect backdrop for fall photos! But it got me thinking about my other favorite spots, and although I've shared these with you in the past, I'd love to share why these locations are specifically perfect for FALL!

Thoughts on "Vacation"

Thoughts on "Vacation"

We’re doing a little time travel in this post, so stick with me!

Hello from Australia! It’s early on Friday October 26th. I have just arrived at the Sydney Airport after flying from Melbourne. We are catching a flight this afternoon to New Zealand, then shortly off to Vancouver from there, before landing back home in Portland Friday afternoon, local time. Can I just tell you, there’s no proper way to prepare for a 20 hour trip, going backwards in time, to land home technically on the same day only a few hours later than you departed. I tell you, nothing.

I wanted to check in here to catch you up to speed on my trip, followed by a mini slideshow of some iPhone shots because that’s the struggle with film ;)
