I’m often asked if I’ve ever worked for a really mean client. And honest to God, I say never! I bring this up because Kristina and Tyler are 1000% the example of what my clients ARE like. Because my clients aren’t just nice or caring, they go above and beyond in these categories. Arriving to a Wedding, already with pressure on your shoulders, with to two big hearted people greeting and thanking you before you’ve even snapped a picture is the greatest gift I can receive as a photographer. I can’t say enough amazing things about this kind and wonderful couple, and I know it’s in their nature to return the favor.
When your couples tell you that they hired a live band to sing Toto and Kesha, you are 10000% prepared for the greatest wedding ever. Boy was I right.
Rémy and Emily are textbook soul mates. Actually, the dictionary defines a soul mate as: a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner. Yes. Exactly that.
Staci and Elvis are the kind of couple that creates a strong family bond with those they meet. It was incredibly apparent how much they are supported in love and life during their wedding day. The rooms were packed with laughter and excitement. Not a single person in the room was ever bored. They didn’t plan any elaborate games or sources of entertainment, but rather knew that their family and friends that they would enjoy their time simply because of their naturally high and playful spirits.
I met Erika over a cup of coffee, as I usually do with my clients. It's one of my many love languages, as I talk about often on my Instagram page. Erika had expressed concern that she wasn't sure where to start planning a wedding, so it was important to her to work with vendors who were helpful, informative, and could easily take the reigns. We originally met to discuss their engagement photos (which we took at Cannon Beach on the hottest day of the year), but by the end of the consultation, she had said her decision was made on her photographer...now all she had to do was choose her venue. (Spoiler: she chose a really beautiful one).
