Don't Forget the Details

As wedding day approaches, your head is going to be filled with many different thoughts and tasks related to the day. You have to think about the timeline, the catering, the family. There leaves little room to think about the details.

The details are the most important part of the wedding day. They are the connecting pieces and all serve their purpose in creating a more beautiful wedding. As you are getting ready, remember to set aside these details to be photographed. Here is a quick list of details we love to capture:

Bride Details

  • Shoes
  • Jewelry & Garter
  • Veil & Hair Pieces
  • Dress
  • Rings

Groom Details

  • Shoes
  • Socks & Tie
  • Watch
  • Buttons
  • Rings

Other Details

  • Invitations
  • Boutonnieres
  • Bouquets & Florals
  • Heirlooms

This list is short and sweet and in no way limits what you should and shouldn't photograph as you get ready. Think about the items that are important to you, and important to the wedding day. Create your own personal list and send it over to your photographer. On the day of, set aside these details. Before the rings are separated, make sure your photographer has had a chance to capture all three.
