This is what a humble couple looks like. A kind and thankful couple. This is a couple who loves nature, good food, and good company. A hardworking couple. This is a couple of really great people who love each other to the ends of this earth. This is a couple I can create with, inspire with, and have fun with. Meet Rachel and Michael. Starting their relationship only as coworkers in an office, barely bumping shoulders on the day to day. After five years, Rachel's best friend laughs because she knew it wasn't going to stop at just working at the same company. After five years, Rachel and Michael are only months away from their wedding. Stress is accompanied by laughter. Laughter is accompanied by stress and so on. If you're planning your wedding, you know this well.
And months before their wedding, we found ourselves in the Gorge. The most beautiful place in the world. Waterfalls, Overlooks, Coves, and Mountains. They explained to me, at one of our first consultations, Wahclella Falls is a very special place. There was no question, we must take the engagement photos at Wahclella Falls. Good waterfalls with good couples obviously means good times.
After the falls, we took 20 minutes to take a peek at Government Cove just because we could. Kind of a perfect day.
Rachel & Michael joined their friend Edna for pizza, because hiking makes you hungry, in Hood River where they will say 'I Do' this October. I am excited and honored to join this amazing and goofy pair, and can't wait to capture the two of them once more.
