Floral Engagement: Cascade Station

I cannot think of a better way to spend a Sunday morning than laughing with good friends. Add some flowers in the mix, and you've got me smiling. With a splash of love, this is how I spent my Sunday a few weeks ago.

I landed myself the only grey day for the week. Typical! Thankfully, we went into this session with some flowers in hand to bring the morning to life. Both the crown and the bouquet were made by Alicia Goodell of Florals by Alicia. Seriously, why wait until your wedding day to hold one of these beauties (let alone wear them!). My couple seriously rocked this session and brought a flat morning to life.

We set up at a quiet field by Cascade Station for an hour. We wanted someplace that wasn't too busy so we could goof around for the time we had.

Alicia filled the bouquet with garden roses, grape hyacinth, eucalyptus, and white ranunculus (to name a few). And as you probably know, I am a big fan of overflowing bouquets, so you can guess my reaction!

And let's not forget to show this flower crown some love! It matched her outfit almost too well.

The Invitation Suite was crafted by none other than Letters & Dust. There is no one who can do what she can! I mean look at these! Rose Gold foil over vellum on the top; sturdy paper with deckled edges on the bottom. Ugh, I'm in love!!!

We danced, we spun, and you bet we belly laughed. And, as always, the session was over in the blink of an eye. But as we parted ways, we were all grinning ear to ear.

Boy, when I meet such extraordinary people, I know my cup is full. They are my reminders to live my best life. Because to live a life with laughter and love, is to live a happily ever after.
